Last Glimpse of Summer

08 Sep

I’m taking a brief hiatus from blogging this week, but in the meantime enjoy some images of my last glimpse of summer before I inevitably springboard head-first into Autumn.

And I think after seeing these, you’ll understand my reasons for the blogging break….

Thanks for your comment Ms. Bennis. I have enjoyed reading your “lessons” and absolutely second each one of them. I hope you’ll keep reading “Whitticisms.” Your lessons reminded me of something I wrote a while back called, “Life Choices” http://dwhitsett.wordpress.com/2011/05/18/life-choices/. I write some about faith matters (can’t help it — former missionary and preacher) but if you are not religious just skip over those parts. I also wrote something called “Things I wish someone had told me” but can’t seem to find it. If I eventually do, it may be time to re-post it. Again, thanks for your comment.

How lucky!! If I could pick up and follow summer around the world, I would. So many good memories of past summers, but as the air gets crisper here I begin to remember how much I love fall too.
